Lolalet Hair Clips: A cheap and easy way to keep your hair off your face, The ones on the left work better for my fine hair. There are other color options, as well. Also, other companies sell these clips for a lot more money ( like just one for $15).

As a parent, I've tried *a lot* of dry shampoos for those days I don't have time to wash and style my hair. So far, this one really does a lot and I like it the most. It's a little drying, which isn't surprising.

Oribe Gold Lust Nourishing Hair Oil: I literally never heard of hair oil until this year. Anyone else?! But I love it I don't want to buy the full bottle-it's pretty pricey- but the mini lasts a while! My hair is *so*dry and I have so many fly aways...it's a total mess and almost growing out in "shelve" even two years postpartum!

Oribe Supershine Moisturizing Creme: Another Oribe product I splurged on when my locks were at their worst ( after coloring it).  A little goes a long way, and too much could weigh your hair down. I imagine having this product for quite some time, and don't use it every time I blow-dry my hair.

Oribe Curl Gelee: A big buy for a gal who doesn't wear her hair curly often ( I'm hoping to grow it out a bit more). Between having kids, processing my hair and genetics, my curls are not the ringlets of my youth. From Shirley Temple to something that crawls out of a lake, my hair has taken a beating over the years. That said I like Oribe and am hopeful that once my hair is healthier, the curls will come back. In the meanwhile, when I do wear my hair curly, I reach for this and only need a small amount. I see this container lasting a really long time as I have fine and thinner hair. The texture reminds me of stuff I used to use in high school, before I moved on to mousses, and now here I am back at gel again!

Hot Tools Pro 24k Gold: I've been looking to replace my old Hot Tools blow out brush ( the bristles got all funky after 6 months), and came back to Hot Tools again...this time the brush looks sturdier. So far, so good! Also, this is a relatively wide barrel for my somewhat thin and fine hair. I wasn't sure how it would work, but doesn't seem to be an issue- it holds the hair taught- and so far isn't causing much breakage.

DpHue Sheer Gloss: A holy grail. Really works as a deep conditioner that I use 1x a week. There's a really noticeable difference on my dry hair!
